Choking is very dangerous and deadly. If not taken sudden action to punch out the food stuck from the wind-pipe, it can even result in death. However, most of the people know the general concept of performing CPR on an adult or adolescents and are using that method to help many choking people. New York State Department of Health states that at least one child dies from choking on food every five days in U.S. and more than 10,000 children are taken to a hospital emergency room each year for food-choking injuries.
