During this year’s The Voice US, Dolly Parton, the country music legend, was invited onstage to sing one of her favorite songs for her audiences. She decided to sing the song about her youth which is titled “Coat of Many Colors”. As you might have guessed, the movie about Dolly Parton with same name is going to be released this Christmas and everybody is excited about it. This song is a very emotional one and she left her audiences to tears.

As you might know, Dolly comes from a very poor country side family. According to her, she was one of the 12 children who were raised by her family in the backwoods of east Tennessee’s Smoky Mountains. Dolly always wished to be a singer and she definitely managed to make her dream come true. According to the Rolling Stone, “…She [Dolly] is now one of the world’s wealthiest, most recognizable women but remains humble when it comes to sharing her gift of song.”
