Dwarfism occurs when a person or animal in short stature, resulting from genetic or medical condition. In humans, dwarfism is defined when an adult has a height of less than 4 feet 10 inches (147cm). Dwarfism can be caused by around 200 different medical conditions, so the symptoms and characteristics of individuals with dwarfism vary greatly.
In this video, a cute 5 year old girl is dancing to Taylor Swift’s hit single ‘Shake It Off’ to raise awareness for Dwarfism Awareness Month. Her name is Rilee and she is suffering from Achondroplasia. She is small in build, but that doesn’t describe how large her personality is.
