Elvis Presley had charming and entertaining personality, and his audiences loved that very much. He is a legend who shook the world through his enchanting voice and heart stopping personality. During a show in 1969, Elvis once again threw the audiences off balance with his spontaneous witty performance. He was singing ‘Are You Lonesome Tonight?’ in Las Vegas and for some reason started to laugh uncontrollably.

According to this video, Elvis had apparently changed the lyrics of the song spontaneously. Instead of singing the line, “Do you gaze at your doorstep and picture me there?”, he decided to alter the words and sang “Do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair?”. But the moment he sang this line, he saw an audience in the front row remove his wig. This was when Elvis couldn’t control his laugh till the end of the song.

The funniest part was when the solo backing singer, Cissy Houston (Whitney Houston’s mother) refused to give in to her laugh and continued singing like nothing happened. If you enjoyed this then let us know in the comments below!
