Pasta is one of my favorite foods. It is relatively easy to make and it is tasty as well; so we make a LOT of pasta at home. The only thing I hate about it is the amount of time you have to wait for it to boil.
According to the author of Keys to Good Cooking, Harold McGee, your pasta-boiling process can be sped up by using a frying pan, instead of using the traditional method of boiling it in a pot. This is a very interesting as well as very useful tip. I am going to try it the next time I cook pasta, which is pretty soon!
