Thanks to its wide popularity and soothing music, the classic hymn “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen has been covered by many popular artists through decades. This video below also features one of its spectacular versions, but this rendition is quite different from the ones you have ever heard or seen.

In this video, the award-winning Rob Landes uses the effect of looping his instrument to create a wonderful version of ‘Hallelujah’ that is surely very relaxing to listen to. Furthermore, his enchanting violin is accompanied by Aubry Pitcher and her marvelous piano skills to add even more grace and presence.

You may know that, the violin and the stringed instruments in general can be manipulated to sound like a human voice. And violinist Rob Landes portrays this unique quality of his instrument so exquisitely in this video.
