When disabled animals are born, doctors normally suggest the owners to euthanize them humanely and let them pass away without pain. Christine was suggested the same when a disabled tiny horse was born in her barn. However, Christine didn’t want to give up on this tiny horse and decided to go beyond anyone’s recommendations and it changed her life forever.
Roozer “Roo” Brewz was born disabled in Kansas City in 2011. He had severe angular limb deformities and tendon laxity on all four of his legs. His condition was the result of his position while in the womb. It was thought that Roo wouldn’t be able to live long and was suggested to be euthanized. However, Christine thought carefully and decided to give Roo the second chance in life. Roo, then, fought all the odds and was able to live a normal life despite his disabilities.
