Alida got diagnosed with neuroendocrine hyperplasia of infancy (NEHI) which made her powerless to breathe without the help of an oxygen tube. Her parents realized that even things like a walk in the park were a big difficulty, due to the fact that Alida couldn’t handle the heavy equipment on her own. However there life took a brighter turn when they learnt about service dogs. They immediately decided to adopt one.
Alida’s companion, Mr. Gibbs, is a beautiful goldendoodle who is trained to look after her. He helps to carry her oxygen and the eqipment and is always behind her wherever she goes. The relationship between these friends is incomparable. What an amazing dog Mr. Gibbs is!
