Arlington is a tear-jerking song by Trace Adkins. It is written from the perspective of a soldier who gets killed in a battle and is buried at the Arlington National Cemetery. Trace Adkins pours all his feelings to this song as he sings it for every fallen soldier of US.
This song was originally inspired by United States Marine Corps Corporal Patrick Nixon, who died in a battle in 2003. Patrick’s dad was also a soldier who served in the Vietnam War. Patrick wanted to become a history teacher after his service came to an end. But unfortunately, he and eight of his squad members got caught in a terrifying fire as they were ambushed by terrorist insurgents.
Trace Adkins pays his respect to all the fallen soldiers with this emotional song. What do you think about this? Do let us know in the comments section below.
