Since 2000, The International Skating Union has been organizing The World Synchronized Skating Championships (WSSC) every year. It attracts the world’s best synchronized skate teams and they compete for the ultimate and glorious title of the season. Usually this event is dominated by Sweden and Finland. However, at the competition of 2015 something unbelievable happened. This year’s championship became the Canadian team who stunned the world through their performance.

This video below features Canada’s team compromising of 16 ice-skaters and two coaches; Shelley Simonton Barnett and Anne Schelter. For this year’s performance, this team ditched the traditional frilly colorful dresses and instead went along with black skirt with leggings. Even their choice of the song is unique and the choreography is fresh.
