Del Shannon Came On Stage In 1964 To Sing His Famous Hit “Runaway”. Do You Recall It?

This video shows a clip from the show called “The Golden Age of Rock and Roll.” It was originally filmed in “Hollywood a Go-Go” in 1964. Del Shannon sang his heart out while performing his hit, “Runaway” on the stage. This song was one of the most famous songs at the time it was released in 1961.

This song was written by Del Shannon and keyboardist Max Crook. It was a major international hit then and now it is on the list of Rolling Stone’s 500 Greatest Songs of All Time. Even the icon, Elvis Presley had given his rendition of this incredible song. Both The Beatles and The Beach Boys also have recorded their own version.
